Iran Condemns ICJ's Ruling on Gaza, Questions Need for International Action Against Zionist Regime

Iran's Foreign Ministry has issued a statement in response to the International Court of Justice's (ICJ) provisional order. Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani criticized the Zionist regime's hostile reaction to the ICJ's decision, stating that it demonstrates the regime's disregard for international norms and legal regulations, highlighting its foundation on violence and discrimination.

Kanaani also pointed out that the ICJ's injunction and the behavior of the U.S. government suggest that Washington is using international judicial mechanisms as a tool. The ICJ's delayed ruling, according to Kanaani, highlights the harsh reality that the situation in Gaza constitutes international crimes, specifically genocide, perpetuated with the unwavering support of the United States for the Zionist regime.

The statement raises the question of whether international organizations and institutes responsible for maintaining global peace and security need additional authorization to compel the Zionist regime to halt its actions labeled as genocide in Gaza.
