Putin Reaffirms Special Military Operation Goals in State of the Nation Address

According to political scientist Pavel Danilin, the priorities outlined by Putin in February 2022 remain unchanged, with the objectives becoming clearer and more substantial.
Danilin pointed out that the confidence exhibited by Russia stems from the military forces and capabilities prepared since the 2000s. The troops engaged in the special military operation are equipped with advanced weaponry and new missiles, reinforcing Russia's assurance in various domains.
The political scientist emphasized the role of the soldiers in the special military operation as a guarantee of Russia's sovereignty. He noted that these forces represent the determination and unity of Russia's multinational people, and they play a crucial role in implementing the outlined goals and plans.
During his lengthy address, President Putin outlined a six-year plan for Russia's growth, emphasizing the firm position and determination of the country's diverse population. He highlighted the attempts by Western politicians to weaken Russia from within, drawing parallels with their actions in Ukraine. Putin stated that the West's miscalculations faced the resolute unity of Russia's people, representing various religions, ethnicities, and cultures.
The president expressed gratitude to those serving on the frontline, underscoring their role in the nation's sovereignty. He credited the cohesion and unity of Russia's people as an unstoppable force, emphasizing that, together, they stand shoulder to shoulder, fighting for their common homeland.
