Spain Chosen to Host Mondiacult 2025, UNESCO Cultural Conference
Pedro Sánchez, President of the Spanish Government, celebrated UNESCO's decision to designate Barcelona as the venue for Mondiacult 2025, a global conference on cultural policies. This marks the first time the event will be hosted outside Mexico. Spain's candidacy, launched in 2023, received strong support from various government ministries. Discussions at the conference will cover pressing issues like Artificial Intelligence and the Culture of Peace.
Spain's commitment to UNESCO is evident through its extensive biosphere reserves, UNESCO Chairs, and numerous World Heritage Sites. The country is a leading advocate for cultural preservation and will use Mondiacult 2025 to address crucial challenges and opportunities in global culture.
