UK and France Forge International Alliance to Combat Cyber Threats
The United Kingdom and France co-hosted a conference at Lancaster House in London, addressing the proliferation and misuse of commercial cyber intrusion capabilities. Following discussions initiated during the 2023 Paris Peace Forum, they launched the Pall Mall Process, uniting governments, private sector, and civil society to tackle cyber threats.
Inspired by the Paris Call for Trust and Security in Cyberspace, and guided by the 2023 French-British Leaders Summit, this initiative aims to curb the irresponsible use of cyber tools. Both nations commit to collaborating with global stakeholders, leveraging existing frameworks, and engaging in multilateral forums like the United Nations to ensure a secure and accessible cyberspace. Their efforts align with building cyber resilience worldwide.
